Disability Services Policies

Policies are a necessary part of institutional life. They clarify expectations and provide guidance on how things should work at any college. UM-Helena approved an institutional-level disability services policy in October of 2009, although many of these policies and procedures were already in place. Other policies on this page are departmental-level policies and guidelines which provide information on a number of disability-related topics.

If the student needs information on a policy that may not be delineated here, he or she should contact the Office of Disability Services. Other institutional policies may also be in place that address the student’s concern.
